A bit of a late update as this happened in December 4th, BUT - as of this date, All Girls Are Moths has been released on Amazon in english and portuguese, and also at my publishing affiliate's website, Beija-flor Editorial, in portuguese!

A little more info for your convenience:

all girls are moths is an allegorical comic about surviving being LGBTQ, and about cyclic suffering related to abuse and gender.

Rio (she/he/they) is a wanderer who needs money. They also struggle with the fact that they have been born a woman and with the vulnerabilizing and predatory feeling or being perceived as such. Trying to just survive in the metropolis, they come in contact with a haunted castle with mysterious and legendary origins; located within it is a miraculous game, the "Challenge" - in which, if won, they will never again have to worry about money. Rio has no other choice than to participate. There is no way to leave the Challenge. The only thing they know is that they should avoid being devoured by the habitants of the Castle, and take the POWER that resides within it. But there are no clear rules or objectives; and the existence of a certain Princess, and an opponent that bars their progres. Rio fumbles through the insides of the Castle, allegoric and unreal, where time does not pass and nothing makes sense to them, who has lived in the real world until now...

The full comic features:

• 100 pages, fully colored, 16x23cm.
• Rating E+ for suggestive themes, innapropriate language and violence/gore.

• This graphic novel references many classic fantasy stories and takes them apart in meaning, leaning heavily into the surreal narration style of anime Revolutionary Girl Utena. The art style, to better fit the story, takes inspiration from the art technique of collage.

Rio, a wandering traveler, gets roped in a mysterious challenge involving a castle; princesses and heroes; divine power and such stories, trying to earn money. But the challenge, in ever-changing landscapes, amidst puppets and shadows of people, does not offer her a clear path - the only one who seems to be real in there is Olive, who has a need to save... or to be saved... or kill... or to be killed. The deeper Rio gets inside the castle, the deeper they lose themself - can they prevent her own incoming doom?
